The first live event of the package is Saturday's senior day football game versus Lehigh, with a 12:00 pm air time. Founded by Sterling Entertainment Enterprises, Time Warner and Comcast, SNY is available to viewers throughout New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and northeastern Pennsylvania, and nationally on DIRECTV, Verizon FiOS, Comcast Cable, and AT&T U-Verse.
"We are thrilled to partner with SNY and bring Pioneer athletics to their viewership," said SHU Executive Director of Athletics Bobby Valentine. "The opportunity to bring our brand and athletic excellence to the largest media market in the world is an important part of the continued growth of our University. We look forward to a prosperous and expanding partnership in the seasons to come."
The Pioneers men's basketball home opener, Tuesday, November 19 is the first basketball game of the package. Randy Brochu will call the action, with Freddie Coleman and Diana Cannizzaro on the football game and Joe DeSantis joining him for the men's basketball game. Five basketball games in February will also air as part of the agreement
The SHU production team brings together representatives from SHU athletics and the School of Communications. Faculty, staff and students from across the campus collaborate to produce the broadcasts. The results demonstrate the hands-on learning that SHU students receive through their academic programs, as well as showcase their talent and creativity.
This forum is to discuss the buzz on our peer and up-level conferences.
