What makes this amazing season even more amazing is that the only 4 teams to beat us are quite good as well.
Rutgers (15-3-2) finished 2nd in the Big 10.
Univ-Albany (9-6-3) finished 2nd in America East.
Yale (11-4-1) finished 3rd in the Ivy League
FDU (9-6-6) finished 2nd in the NEC.

Do not be surprised when we win our first round game.

Honestly, couldn’t have gotten a better bid at this level. It’s a winnable game with a little fire in the belly for revenge. I think the ladies are pumped and they have a better than average chance of coming up with a “W”.

CCSU was the only team to beat a seed (Top-16 teams) in the first round this year.

All the other 1-4 seeds advanced, except Rutgers.

Second Round game will be played this Friday at 4pm on the campus of the University of Virginia.

If Central wins, they would advance to play the winner of
#1 Virginia/Washington State on Sunday in Charlottesville.

Heartbreaking loss ... ladies played so well. WVU with a goal off the KK with about 4:00 left in the second OT

CCSU 0, WVU 1 - OT(2)

The entire team represented CCSU well and can't wait to see them back on the pitch next year!

I don’t follow women’s soccer but that was a great game.
