Northeast Conference FBS opponents

With the announcement that Merrimack has scheduled a game at UMass in 2023, every NEC team, with the exception of Sacred Heart, has played or scheduled a FBS opponent.

CCSU was the first NEC team to schedule a FBS opponent (2007 at Western Michigan), while Wagner will have played the most FBS opponents through this season (11).

Long Island added another FBS game - at Ohio University (MAC) on Sep. 2, 2023. LIU will collect a $425k guarantee for the game.

Per FBSchedules ..

Wagner added a 2nd FBS opponent in 2021. The Seahawks will travel to Philly on Sep. 25, to play Temple at Lincoln Financial Field.

Robert Morris will play at Miami (Ohio) on Sep. 10, 2022 for a $335k guarantee.

Duquesne will play a 2nd FBS team in 2020 - Sep. 5 at Air Force (and Coastal Carolina). This will be the NEC first games vs. one of the Military Academies.
