So Fox 61 cant stop kissing The EE’s football a$$, they are highlighting the massive football battle in Amherst this weekend 🙄🙄🙄. During the smooching they said that they are still looking for three more opponents for next year? Hello? McFly???

Tell UCONN we will take all three. We need the Ws.

I don't think UConn is seeking a second FCS game in 2020 (10/10/2020 - Maine at UConn) and I don't think Central wants a second FBS opponent next season either (9/19/2020 - CCSU at Toledo). I think we are just going to have to wait until our 2022 match up in East Hartford.

I'm interested to confirm if we are playing Merrimack again next season (either as a non-conference opponent like this season or as a NEC game). If we are playing them, then our 11-game schedule for 2020 is set. If not, we have room for one more game.

I guessing they are on our slate in one form or another. #-o

More interesting is the usual battle for first appears not to be the last game of the season as it’s been lately

Anyone hear anything about CCSU's 2021 FBS opponent; possibly a game at Boston College on Sep 4, 2021?

Haven’t seen that yet. I did see that the EE is playing Ohio Starte in a few years ...

No truth to the BC rumor, instead Central will play fellow ACC member Miami Hurricanes on September 25, 2021.

The complete 2020 schedule was quietly released back on March 31st:
http://www.ccsubluedevils.com/sports/fb ... 1/schedule

Here is a link to the fbschedules.com website that brokde the story:
https://fbschedules.com/central-connect ... -schedule/

But this is of course all predicated on the COVID-19 situation. If there is no workable vaccine in place, a 2020 season may not be feasible.

At least D.J. is transferring up to a higher level program. That does speak well to the success of our football program.

Agreed, just hate losing the good ones as we still have an FCS playoff game to win. Sorry, not sorry, but that’s my definition of success for this program...
