That would guarantee a "Central" victory.

Mother of God, I’ll be 72 (if I’m lucky) by the time that game rolls around!

Too bad we couldn’t schedule UConn for next season. Obviously they’re down and they’re begging for games. I know we already have 12 games on the slate, but man, that would be a blast.

Couldn't agree more! I wish we had them on the schedule this year, and the AD should do everything in his power to get on UConn's schedule next year, even if that means pushing back our home game vs Valpo, or cancelling it altogether. Playing the Huskies next year should be a priority for us if they are looking to fill out their schedule with a game against CCSU.

FYI - Next year is a 11-game season for FCS teams. Per fbschedules.com, we have 3 non-conference games confirmed (vs. Valpo, at Toledo, at Columbia) + at least 7 NEC games. I'm not sure if Merrimack becomes a league game in 2020, so we might have room to schedule another game.

I'm hoping to hear more about the 2020 schedule soon.

Oh I wasn't claiming that this would be a guaranteed W for CCSU. Not by any stretch. I was simply thinking that this would be a fun game for the state on Connecticut. It would give UConn another much-needed home game and it would give us a little positive exposure.
