Yale 12/9/17

Post by ccsutaf » Sun Dec 10, 2017 12:40 am

Was at the game. Yale pressed from the mid point of the first quarter for the rest of the game. Central lost the 2nd quarter 28-6 and lost the game by 14. Patterson played well with 22 points. When she went out of the game at the start of the second quarter CCSU had a very difficult time breaking the press with several empty possessions. Lydon only had 4 free throws. Gardiner provided some energy in the second half up front. You knew that the game wasn't winnable but they played hard the second half. Unfortunately it still looks like a long season.

What's the over/under on 4 wins this season?

Hill, I think it is at best a push with 4 wins and very likely 2 to 3 wins this season.

They seemed to be heading in the right direction with a couple WNIT trips but recently...not so much.
