Lots of midweek home games - great schedule.

Home vs. Hartford, Albany, Stony Brook, Fairfield, Quinnipiac, and UConn. I would trade a game vs. Siena or Manhattan for a game at Yale, but that's it. No games at Dunkin Donuts Park, but that's OK - nice to play so many on campus.

Trip to Florida, plus a nice series at Creighton. No games at Navy for the first time in a while. Would have been great to play at Arkansas, but maybe we see them again in the NCAAs :)

And the roster is up:

With a lot of last year's stars returning, this is still a relatively young team with even more room to grow. I hear Omaha is nice in June.

I am expecting a big year from Bowens if healthy.
With last year's Ruthian OPS at 1.099, and more of the same this season, I am sure that he is going to get a close look from the scouts.

CCSU defeated Bethune-Cookman 2-0 tonight in the 2020 opener. The Blue Devils only had three hits, but Andrew Braun was masterful during the six innings he pitched. giving up only one hit and striking out seven. Game Two tomorrow night.

Too early for concern? Looks like they dropped four in a row this weekend .

Way too early. Pitching looks good and with the exception of today's 2nd game vs Pitt, we haven't lost by more than 2 runs.

These early preseason games in Florida are like spring training. I wouldn't read into anything yet. Now they return to the mild winter in the Northeast, and see how they fair vs. Regional opponents.

Going to need a bottom of the 9th rally to not lose to Hartford. Down 8-5 top of 9th...
