Question: does he play his senior year at CCSU, or leave school and begin play in the minors this year?

I had the same question but my guess is he leaves school. Wonder if another year would boost his draft status?

In the New Britain Herald newspaper today, there's a "Transactions" section notation that the Seattle Mariners' have "Agreed to terms with ...3B Ryan Costello...".
I assume that means that he has signed a contract, but, it's not clear.
There's nothing on the CCSU site, as of 10:30 am.

"Agreed to terms" can only mean that he is going pro. It may be a verbal agreement until the papers are signed, but in all likelihood that is a formality.
Best of luck to Ryan Costello and I hope to see him on a major league roster at some point.

Ryan has signed and is playing in the Arizona Rookie League. He has already appeared in 2 games going 1-4 with a HR! Let's hope he keeps it going!
