No, I am interested too.
Thanks for that link. Scribner has hung around the majors for awhile now.
Working as a journeyman major league baseball player is pretty nice job and a great experience for a young man.

Scrib has a nice career in the majors. I think a few injuries have caused him to bounce around, but he a MLB vet and journeyman for sure. Nice to see him back in the show.

Evan Scribner's name has surfaced, finally.
According to the New Britain Herald newspaper, he's been sent to Tacoma (PCL) for a rehabilitation assignment.

His brother, who I believe went to Wagner, is also in the big leagues. Good bloodlines.

Sad news. According to the Mariner's site, he was released on Sept. 5.
I scour the New Britain Herald and the Hartford Courant, but didn't any mentino of this in either paper.
I hope he can latch on with another club.
See http://m.mariners.mlb.com/player/519267/evan-scribner for more info.

Looks like Evan Scribner is back in the city!
See the article in the New Britain Herald: http://www.newbritainherald.com/NBH-CCS ... ribner

NEW BRITAIN - The New Britain Bees have added yet another piece to add to their pitching staff, but the latest signing brings a familiar face back to Connecticut - one with Major League talent.

The team announced the signing of pitcher Evan Scribner, who graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2007. This is his first season in the Atlantic League, but 12th in professional baseball.

Scribner spent parts of seven seasons in Major League Baseball, making his debut in 2011 with the San Diego Padres. He also played for the Oakland Athletics and the Seattle Mariners.

In total, the right-hander made 145 appearances between the three clubs, compiling a 5-4 record with a 4.15 ERA. He also struck out 155 batters in 169 innings.

Scribner was originally drafted in the 28th round of the 2007 draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He spent two years in Arizona’s system before being traded to the Padres for Tony Clark.

Scribner had a successful minor league career. In 323 appearances, he threw 419.1 innings, posted a 29-21 record and tallied 84 saves. He had a career 2.85 ERA and struck out 524 batters.
