GAME NOTES | 2018-19 RECORD BOOK

SERIES HISTORY • CCSU leads, 10-3, and won last season's meeting 76-73 at UMass Lowell. The Blue Devils are 6-0 all-time in the series at Detrick Gymnasium.

KOHL EARNS WEEKLY HONOR • Tyler Kohl picked up right where he left off last season with a terrific all-around week for the Blue Devils. The preseason All-NEC honoree averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from three-point range and 84.6 percent from the stripe in a 1-1 week for CCSU. Kohl opened the season with a game and career-high 30-points to go along with 10 boards, five assists and a pair of steals as the Blue Devils rallied from 12 down at Hartford to post a 75-68 win. He scored all 30 of his points in the final 29:20 of the contest. Kohl was the only player nationally over the first week of the season to post a 30/10/5/2 game. He put up 19 points on 4-7 shooting from distance, and added seven rebounds, five dimes and two steals in a tightly contested 85-78 setback to Georgetown in D.C. He scored 15 points and hit all four of his three-point shots in the second stanza to put the Blue Devils in position to pull off the upset

KRISHNAN NAMED PRIME PERFORMER • Ian Krishnan made a bold statement in just his second career game with 28 points at Georgetown for an upset-minded CCSU team on Saturday. While the Blue Devils fell seven points short, Krishnan did his part, hitting 6-11 from three-point range en-route to a game-high 28-point effort. The 28 points were the most by an NEC freshman since late 2016. He averaged 17.0 ppg on the week.

UP NEXT • CCSU travels to Montego Bay, Jamaica, to take part in the Jersey Mike's Jamaica Classic. Central will play Austin Peay on Friday, Nov. 16, in an 11:30 a.m. tip off. The Blue Devils will face Florida A&M at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18. Both games will be carried on the CBS Sports Network. CCSU will travel to Loyola Marymount as part of the event on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

CCU has *got* to defend the 3 or it could be a long night.

UML is only shooting 31% from three through two games. But they do have more than a couple guys who can knock them down.

6:45 and the place is virtually empty.

By the way, in the locker room at my gym this morning, the talk was the excitement level of USJ.

Is is me or is the FrontRow stream awful ... it is buffering like crazy.

The audio is crap. Also, no score or clock graphics anywhere on the screen.

Now it just went down.

Yep! I gotta tell you it is very frustrating for the small, dedicated fanbase we have.

The audio/video coverage has gotten worse over the years, as technology has gotten better and cheaper. #-o

What gives? The lack of adequate financial resources for this DI men's basketball is embarrassing.

We finally have a good team again and no one that cares can follow it and we certainly aren't going to add any fans like this. [-X

It had the audio up for a minute and that would have been fine!

Well, I guess we can watch the women vs. Rutgers on BTN right now.

That game is coming in crystal clear on DirecTV.

CCSU down 7-12 in Q1

Like if we still had a commercial radio deal?

IHeartRadio was a nice "new school" way to listen to the radio.

I know I can be somewhat negative 😜🤣, but this is unCceptable...bordering on pathetic for a D-1 school that only a few years ago had a solid Radio Network. Sorry guys to be so negative, but this just rips my heart out as a fan of 40+ years. Thought CCSU was going in the right direction, now we can’t even follow them.😒😒😡

Don’t have a Direct TV.
