What stinks the most is if ESPN3 is truly dead. I guess we can pay for it during hoops season but will CCSU even be there? I for one sure as heck will not pay for each away game on some other teams network to watch them get their heads kicked in w/ out Kohl. Not optimal for a school that is trying to retain its fan base and get back to winning ways, make yourselves totally invisible, piss off your entire season ticket base with absolute GARBAGE home basketball games and only (potentially of course) win 3-4 games in the off season. Who's excited?!

At least we have football to be excited about. Very much looking forward to the Columbia game!

RR-
The HOME portion of the non-conference schedule is complete garbage: just 3 home games (junior college, D-III, and UMass-Lowell). There is no excuse for it, none.

However, I disagree that the rest of the schedule is MEAC/SWAC quality and FCS football has little impact on our need to schedule $$ games in basketball. We need a few $$$ games each year because we have no other source of revenue for basketball (tickets, sponsorships, conference revenue, media deals are minimal or non-existent).

(4) high-majors:
@ Providence - $, Big East, local team
@ Virginia Tech - $, ACC, regional team
@ Oregon State - $, Pac-12, Pacific time zone, flight
@ Georgetown - $, Big East, regional team, part of MTE

(1) mid-majors:
@ Loyola Marymount - $, WCC, part of MTE

(5) One-bid conferences / "peers" / low-majors:
vs. Austin Peay - @ Jamaica, OVC, part of MTE
vs. Florida A&M - @ Jamaica, MEAC, part of MTE
@ Hartford - America East, return game
@ N.C. A&T - MEAC, return game
@ Maine - America East, return game
The basketball team is playing cash games to prop up the huge costs of football. You drop football tomorrow and the budget situation would be improved to the point where you aren’t playing a MEAC OOC.

Travelling around the country getting your teeth kicked in playing one game at home before New Year’s is embarrassing to everyone involved.

For FCS football that is literally invisible. Setting money on fire while potentially damaging the brains of student athletes. It’s not even a decision at this point - it’s obviously time to give up that ghost and focus on having basketball programs that can compete.

I was just checking out this years schedule.

Pine Manor? Is this a game against a local rest home and will there be built in nap times instead of media timeouts?

Does anyone have any idea how to watch something on FS2? I've searched my cable, I've searched the itunes store, I've downloaded all the Fox apps and still have no idea. Thanks.

Try

I think it is a television channel only and availability is based on your cable/satellite provider and your paid plan. I don’t think it is online.

I get FS2 on my cable and I have one of the lower priced packages. It is one of two Fox Sports channels the other being FS1.

Just to a 7 day trial for one of the streaming services (I have Playstation Vue, which carries FS2). YoutubeTV and Sling may also carry it. Not sure though.

Fox Sports 2 is on DirecTV channel 618. You might need to have the Sports Pack or one of the premium subscriptions, I'm not sure.

Wagner at Seton Hall is on now on FS2. Pirates up 43-27 at halftime.

You're right, I did too actually. This is twice in 1 week for WTNH, hoping they see that this is actually better ball than the almighty Calhoun will produce.
