10/28 is scheduled to be an off-day for the World Series. Perfect timing.

Is McCarthy still the "interim" coach?
That is a great talk because it is designed to instill in the players a productive attitude and approach to the game.

Practice has begun!
Anyone know why the men are practicing at University of St. Joseph in West Hartford yesterday?

Possibly, but I thought per NCAA regs, we only get 2 scrimmages/exhibition - we have Marist and Coast Guard. Obviously there is the connection to USJ through Donyell and Calhoun.

Maybe just a conflict at Derrick for some event, but who knows.

Clips of the team look good!

I was wondering about that too.
I thought that the NCAA rules were that D1 programs scrimmage, in private, against D1 schools and/or play exhibitions, open to the public, against D2 and D3 schools.

Could it possibly be that they’re actually attempting to finish the renovations before the start of the season and therefore the gym is unusable? Or maybe the rec center is still closed so the gym is needed for PE classes. ???
