Looks like a long year in Hamden as well. #sad
Re: General (Non CCSU/NEC) Basketball Chat
Wish QU nothing but the worst
Glad to see Monmouth falling back to the norm.
Quinnipac sucks! Hartford is struggling as well.
Only UConn, Yale, and CCSU seem to be having a good year locally.

Wish we had scheduled both Q and Monmouth. I wish them both the worst, especially Q!Wish QU nothing but the worstGlad to see Monmouth falling back to the norm.

Sorry I hate to be negative....no I don't

Hartford is struggling but they did go to Hamden and beat Q. It looked like there were about 23 people in attendance...including cheerleaders

Based on what I saw in the opener they have some talented players, but are certainly weak in the paint. Bute and Kohl absolutely killed them.
Most D1 schools are going to have a low post threat, but not so much in the AE, so i still expect UofH to be in the top half of the AE. They can shoot threes.

I'd really wish whomever runs the schedule would look into both QU and MU. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Pine Mannor. Never heard more complaining from the stands about anything else. It was like every conversation going on inside the gym, outside the lobby and in the can, "why the hell are we playing d3?"

Hartford should not be this bad. They really miss Atila.

Hopefully this hasn't spread. To this point, it is an isolated case, not an epidemic.

They can afford it I guess. Either we can’t or we won’t.

Absolutely correct. We are a long way from the days when the state was was dominated by the Whalers and the very successful AHL New Haven Nighthawks. AA Minor league baseball franchises like the West Haven Yankees and later the new Britain Rock Cats flourished. From 1973-1974 the New York Giants played their home games at Yale Bowl while the Meadowlands was under construction.

Boy oh boy did Creighton blow an inbounds with less than a second to go. Marquette with miracle three and are now on fire. Announcers begging for Marquette to win. Howard has 50 points my God...
