Re: 11.25.17 @2PM FCS Game CCSU Vs New Hampshire

Glovach wrote a good article in the Herald. Can CCSU win this game? Sure, but a lot of things have to go right. 1. We need to control the clock. We need Nash and JPG to move the chains and eat clock with the run. 2. Have to be positive in turnovers. More specifically, we really can’t afford to turn ...

Re: 11.24.17 @ Cleveland State

I think a lot of those predictors are still using last years data.

Personally, I like our odds heading into this game, although I was surprised to here Bruce say on the radio they were bussing to Cleveland. That is a very long ride over Thanksgiving, so we have to hope they don't come out too flat.

Re: Jeff Jacobs: At Central, the Punishment Fits the Crime

That's because they care about their image and programs. We have to be moral. Sorry. This game is too big and the kid said the party got out of control. Was it dumb? Sure. Did he hurt anyone? Nope. Pretty sure every team member would have understood and supported it . Swear I wonder how much this r...

Re: Jeff Jacobs: At Central, the Punishment Fits the Crime

And just to put this in total perspective, a UConn basketball player crashed a scooter and left the scene of an accident. UConn imposed penalty: he missed one meaningless opening game vs. Stony Brook . From the UConn, I mean Hartford Courant : UConn guard Jalen Adams will have no problem making the ...

Re: Jeff Jacobs: At Central, the Punishment Fits the Crime

Once again, Jeff Jacobs is totally wrong. He is a fool, and never would have wrote this article is Edsall had benched his players for a party in Mansfield. I do agree that Coach Ross had to make the decision he did - I don't blame him for this situation. But we are holding CCSU students (athletes an...

Jeff Jacobs: At Central, the Punishment Fits the Crime

From the Hartford Courant : Jacob Dolegala threw for three touchdowns in a rout of Robert Morris Saturday. The school's all-time passing leader led Central Connecticut to its eighth successive win, led the Blue Devils to the first undefeated NEC season since Albany did it in 2008. And then the junio...

Did they ever replace Bobbie's position? Could probably use one of those for football too. Also, any word on Talek? If he's not playing, why not redshirt him already? Already a month in....
OK, I heard Talek is just not healthy yet. Not sure on his return.

Re: Ugh!!!

The more I read, the more I am shocked about the police response to house parties. Four Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) students, including two student football players, were arrested at a house party over the weekend. The call about a large party in New Britain came into police exactly ...

Owen Canfield: Suspensions harsh blow to Central Connecticut football team

From the Register-Citizen : Happy Thanksgiving. The full story hasn’t been made public, but the violation of team rules committed by two Central Connecticut State University football players must have been serious because they have been suspended by Coach Pete Rossomando at the worst possible time. ...

Re: 11.21.2017 v. Coppin State

I know we all give Laney hard time and have been critical of his play, but kudos! He made a big time shot there. Congrats to that young man.

Nehls is cold this game, but give Kohl credit for his key shots and vision to pass it off.

OT for the second time this season.

Re: Ugh!!!

And from the New Britain Herald : The party came to attention of CCSU police around 12 a.m. Nov. 19 after a university sergeant on off-campus party patrol heard shouting and a large crowd screaming, a police report said. Sgt. Ramon Baez moved in to investigate and found two men arguing and a large p...

Re: 11.21.2017 v. Coppin State

Wow, that half went quick. Slow start for the Blue Devils.

CCSU not shooting well at home, but I think they come back strong in the second half.
