Re: Corsley, Closs, and Horton

Not bad. He is no longer in NBA form, but he can hold his own out there and contribute.

In the first game of the Yankees’ doubleheader Thursday against the Rays, manager Aaron Boone went viral on social media after he unleashed fury on rookie home plate umpire Brennan Miller, prompting an ejection and subsequent suspension. But the viral video didn’t come from a major television netwo...

Re: New scoreboard in Detrick Gym

I have said it before and agree with others on here that YES the new basketball arena should have been developed on the land where the bubble once stood and then renovate Kaiser to become to "new" rec center...Detrick Gym could be used as the volleyball "arena" and the basketball practice facility ...

Re: New scoreboard in Detrick Gym

Obviously, the person who wrote the article didn’t major in Geography. Unless I read it wrong or can’t visualize it correctly, the scoreboard is on the SOUTH side of the gym. I definitely know that the Huang Center is attached on the NORTH side. Not a huge mistake, but you're right. And for the rec...

Shemik Thompson named HC Cape Henlopen High

Congrats to CCSU alum Shemik Thompson. Certainly one of my favorite Blue Devils. He has his law degree and is now taking over as head coach of his high school program in Delaware. Thompson, an all-state selection at Cape who went on to score more than 1,300 career points as a point guard at Central ...

Re: Is DMarshall on the hot seat????

We’re all hoping for the best for him and the school. Despite some early read flags for me, I really thought we were making progress. How last season ended and the complete turnover if the roster is very concerning. That being said, what we have on paper for next season looks very promising. If he c...

Re: 2019-20 non-conference schedule

Updated schedule info to include date for Hartford game at home and added a road game at St. John's . Sources indicate we will also have Maine and New Hampshire at home, as well as one lower-division opponent :( I also expect 2 more road ($$$) games against a major conference opponents to be added t...

Re: UConn adds CCSU to future football schedule!

Kudos to the AD! This was an absolutely fantastic move for the university and the football program. This gives us 2 FBS games a bus ride away across the river and we collect $550K from UConn. Tons of statewide press and coverage that comes with "The Horde" Hopefully this 'experiment' is a huge succe...
