Pitt scores 4 in the bottom of the 7th to pull out a 7-5 win and move to 8-1. CCSU drops to 2-2 on the season. The Blue Devils face Lehigh tomorrow at 11AM

CCSU defeated Bethune-Cookman 2-0 tonight in the 2020 opener. The Blue Devils only had three hits, but Andrew Braun was masterful during the six innings he pitched. giving up only one hit and striking out seven. Game Two tomorrow night.

To put the last seven games in perspective, we went 3-4 against teams with a combined 85-100 record. Our three wins came at the expense of Wagner (10th in the NEC), Bryant (9th), and FDU (T-6th). Their combined records are 27-50. The bar has not just been set low, its lying on the gym floor.

There are a lot of lines to read between in that article. My assessment is that Tom is going to be an activist AD; and that is exactly what we need. The process needs to start now so that a new coach can be named in time to salvage whatever is left of the recruiting season.
