Re: Recruiting under Sellers off to a good start...

and to CCSU-4's points, the big man isn't the same asset to our program that he used to be. Bigs are super important. It's just that the HOW has changed quite a bit over the past two decades. Agreed, bigs are super important, hence why we always look like 8th graders when we play big time schools. ...

Agreed, not to mention how we seem to usually be low on the bench for one reason or another. Sounds like the walk ons can play which is a plus.

Re: Tom Pincince “Interim” AD

Totally agree. Happy to hear we can have 90% capacity at football, no clue why it’s not 100 but happy we can finally go see a game!!!

Re: 2021-22 Non-Conference Schedule

CCSU is playing NC State on 11/16 at Mohegan Sun, UMass-Lowell on 11/17. A nice opportunity to play a high-major at a quasi-home game. We need to get as many students/alumni there as possible. A nice test to see if Patrick Sellers and Tom Pincince can lead a campaign to get students interested/invo...

Re: Assistant Coach - Lamar Chapman

Sounds like a solid pick up for a top assistant. If he’s in the Pikell, Sellers network, probably a good egg. Can’t wait to see some games!

Finally listened to part 2. You numbers guys must have had to excuse yourselves after listening to this 😝

I’m beyond stoked at this hire. Pat truly gets it. He’s going to be very special here.

Re: Welcome home Pat Sellers!

That 2nd interview was really really awesome! My impressions: 1. He seems like a mix of Old School Howie style coach and New School Modern coach (DePaul) 2. It seems real important to get back to basics and build this with a good base and get back to CCSU hoops of the early 2000's 3. Reconnect with...

Re: Recruiting under Sellers off to a good start...

Sounds like coach is excited for him to come and expects big things. IMHO, Pat has been at much bigger and way better programs than anything the NEC has to offer. His eye for talent must be better simply because of that fact.

Re: 2021 schedule

Would love to hand UConn and Yale a loss. Yes, and I am sure Southern Conn is thinking the same about us! Better win that one first. Oh, is Yale a home and home? or are they paying us not to have to come to Arute? If we are serious about this program, we should all expect nothing short of total dom...

Agreed. Would love to hand UConn and Yale a loss. Just hope coach can keep the train running in the right direction. Hoping the covid pause doesn’t send us in the wrong direction. Haven’t heard anything about football. Usually we get some info about spring practice etc.
